Okay, I just wanted to applaud Dreamworks again for making scenes like this, when in a few seconds we can know A LOT about a character, and even more if we look closely.
This is the first time Guy meets Eep’s family, and he doesn’t know they are her family. All he knows is what he’ve seen - and Grug just kind of roared in his face.

Designer and illustrator June Shieh recently posted some design sketches she did for the limited line of Croods plush toys. While I’m glad the manufacturer gave the mousephant back his trunk (hey, that almost sounds like one of Aesop’s fables!), I sure wish Shieh’s version of Crispy Bear made it into stores.

Ive really wanted to draw him since I saw Chris Sanders boards and sketches of him. This is kind of leaning more towards his design, with the bigger eyes and the ears and all. Anyway.

I actually liked the movie. It had nice visuals, few funny lines here and there, and good story. I love Guy. Why is it that I’m always attracted to these kinds of characters lol.
